They came out on top against Carver A&T by a score of 45-36. That's another feather in the cap for Sparrows Point, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Carver A&T's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jada McAliley, who scored 13 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Jordan Carrington, who scored six points along with six blocks.
Sparrows Point's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points per game. As for Carver A&T, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
