It was another big night for Kaden Myers, who scored 15 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Mid-Carolina's points. Jacob Clark was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Despite the loss, Fox Creek still got an impressive performance from Connor Cannon, who scored 18 points along with 7 rebounds. Cannon continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Chorsheak White, who scored 3 points along with 5 assists.
Mid-Carolina's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Fox Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
Mid-Carolina will head out on the road to face off against Batesburg-Leesville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fox Creek, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Augusta Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Augusta Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matchups.
