The Coolidge Bears won the last time they faced the Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets, and things went their way on Monday too. Coolidge managed a 55-51 win over Blue Ridge. The win made it back-to-back wins for Coolidge.
Leading Coolidge to victory were Alaysia White and Naylissa Charles. White dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds, while Charles scored 18 points along with five rebounds. That's the first time this season that Charles scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amaira Miguel, who scored eight points along with six rebounds.
Coolidge's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Blue Ridge, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 4-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coolidge will be home for the holidays to greet Sabino at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Jayda Haley and White. Blue Ridge will be home for the holidays to greet Alchesay at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th. Alchesay will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
