Basketball Recap: Wallace Extends Winning Streak to Three

While Wallace didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 55-48 win over the Potter-Dix Coyotes on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Despite the loss, Potter-Dix still got an impressive performance from Dylan Tabor, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards. The game was Tabor's third in a row with at least ten points. Domonic Christensen was another key player, putting up six points.

Wallace is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Potter-Dix, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Wallace Wildcats duke it out with the Mitchell Tigers at 2:00 p.m. on December 31st. As for Potter-Dix, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Minatare at 5:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Potter-Dix is facing Minatare at the right time seeing as Minatare is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
