On Friday, River Ridge take on Markesan at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against River Ridge, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
River Ridge took care of business in their home opener. They strolled past Shullsburg with points to spare last Friday, taking the game 33-14.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Markesan lost to St. Mary's Springs last week, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-51.
River Ridge's lifted them to 1-0 while Markesan's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if River Ridge can add another positive mark to their record or if Markesan can shake off the loss and take the spring out of River Ridge's step.
