After a string of three wins, the Kimball Jaguars's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 66-40 walloping at the hands of Liberty. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Kimball in their matchups with Liberty: they've now lost four in a row.
Several Jaguars players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tobe Nwankwo, who scored six points along with six rebounds. Dawson Pelech was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Kimball's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Liberty, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
Kimball and Tennyson will face off at 12:00 p.m. on December 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Tennyson is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
