When it comes to explaining why Lake Forest lost, one person who can't be blamed is Darius Miller. Despite the final result, he picked up 73 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Laurel has yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 6-4 record. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.7 points per game. As for Lake Forest, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Laurel will challenge Sussex Tech on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Delaware (Sussex Tech is ranked 31st, while Laurel is ranked 20th).
