San Andreas recap Oct. 3, 2012
Carter extended the longest winning streak in San Andreas this week by beating Colton, 44-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Lions.
Rialto's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Javone Morgan threw for 110 and one touchdown and Jesus Munoz had 62 yards receiving. On the ground Paul Cortez chipped in 257 yards. Steven Barraza helped Rialto's passing attack out by catching one ball for 24 yards.
Thanks to the talents of Morgan and Cortez the Knights have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Morgan leads the league in passing with 592 yards, while Cortez has rushed for 698 yards this season. San Bernardino's Malyk Wright leads the league in receiving yards with 210 on eight catches.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Carter takes on the Cardinals. Alex Pierce's team is in first place, while San Bernardino is in fifth place.
Rialto led the league in scoring this week after putting up 62 points on Grand Terrace. Cortez caught two passes for 24 yards in the win.
