Jay was the 3-0 winner over Southwest Legacy when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs fell 2-0 to the Titans on Saturday. The Mustangs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Jay ultimately came up short, they really made Southwest Legacy work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 26-24.

Jay's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Southwest Legacy, they pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, Jay is taking a road trip to take on East Central at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southwest Legacy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against MacArthur at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
