Basketball Recap: Mid-Moore Christian's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

If Mid-Moore Christian was feeling good fresh off their 56-28 takedown of Family of Faith Christian on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The matchup between the Mid-Moore Christian Tornados and the Life Christian Eagles didn't end well, with the Mid-Moore Christian Tornados falling 69-54. The Tornados' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Mid-Moore Christian still got an impressive performance from Noah Moore, who posted 14 points and six steals. The dominant performance gave Moore a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Caeson Moore, who had nine points and six boards.

Mid-Moore Christian's loss dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Life Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-6.

As for Life Christian, they will take on Bowlegs at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Bowlegs is on a three-game streak of home wins, Life Christian a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
