The Bard Early College Raptors won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 86-30 loss at the hands of East Tech. Bard Early College was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 59-14.
It was another big night for Keshawn Ellington, who scored 22 points along with seven assists and five steals for East Tech. The team also got some help courtesy of Johann Gaines, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Bard Early College has not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for East Tech, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3.
Bard Early College won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Rams at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st. As for East Tech, they will stay at home for another game and welcome the Trailblazers at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Campus International will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 839th, while the Scarabs are ranked 412th).
