Given Lovejoy's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 106th, while West Oso is ranked 305th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
malaigha sweats and Alivia Shaw certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. sweats scored 22 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds, while Shaw scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Milauni Williams, who scored 5 points along with 7 steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Lovejoy and bumps their season record up to 8-4. As for West Oso, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-4.
Lovejoy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Tenaha at 8:00 a.m. on December 1st. Tenaha is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games. As for West Oso, they will head out on the road to face off against La Joya at 4:40 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully La Joya focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 34 on Friday.
