Tayveon Parry Turns in Season-Best Effort
Tayveon Parry produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Union to the win on Thursday. Parry rushed for 170 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 52 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
On the year, Parry has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 85.6 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 14.57 rushing yards per game.

A Season-Best Performance from Jordan Schelling Leads Union over Yukon
Union was led to victory by Jordan Schelling, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Schelling rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. His longest rush was for an incredible 89 yards.
Schelling and Union will be playing in front of their home fans against Broken Arrow at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Redhawks got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Tigers, probably because Schelling had a solid game then too: he picked up 58 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 46 yards. Jeramiah Ssettimba posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Thursday. He rushed for 99 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 231 yards and a touchdown.

Another Broken Arrow player making an appearance on this list is Octavian Roberson. He rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also caught a touchdown. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 80 yards.
