The Bucktail Bucks will head out on the road to challenge the Montgomery Red Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Montgomery will be up against a hot Bucktail squad: the team just extended their winning streak to six. The Bucks put the hurt on Sugar Valley Rural with a sharp 18-1 win on Monday.

Eva Sockman was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, eight RBI, and three doubles. Those eight RBI gave her a new career-high. Lola English was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one triple.
Bucktail always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .676. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .588 or higher in six consecutive games.
Meanwhile, while Montgomery put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Sugar Valley Rural. The Red Raiders blew past the Phoenix 14-0.
JENNA HOUSEKNECHT was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one hit in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on MADISYN MILLER, who fired off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was ZOE FURMAN, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and two doubles.
Bucktail's record now sits at 10-2. As for Montgomery, their record is now 10-5.
Tuesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Bucktail has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .583. However, it's not like Montgomery struggles in that department as they've averaged .472. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Bucktail skirted past Montgomery 5-4 in their previous matchup back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bucks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
