The Orestimba Warriors won the last time they faced the Summerville Bears, and things went their way on Thursday too. Everything went Orestimba's way against Summerville as Orestimba made off with a 65-39 win.
Orestimba's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Devon Bell led the charge by scoring 13 points. The game was Bell's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Valenzuela, who scored 13 points.
Orestimba's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Summerville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Hilmar the next time they take the court. Orestimba will head out to face Hilmar at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while Summerville will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
