 Meanwhile, Port Huron Northern had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Lakeview as they made off with  a  3-0 win.
 Lake Fenton's defeat dropped their record down to 18-15. As for Port Huron Northern, their victory bumped their record up to 30-8-1.
