The Arlington Admirals will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the North Rockland Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Arlington's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 47-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of White Plains.
Meanwhile, North Rockland's game on Wednesday was all tied up 17-17 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 52-45 to Scarsdale.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Kiersten Daly, who scored 18 points. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for her. Jaidah Arce was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Arlington's record now sits at 0-2. As for North Rockland, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-4.
Arlington beat North Rockland 46-34 when the teams last played back in February of 2022. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was North Rockland's Neive Fausel, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Now that she won't be playing on Thursday, will it be that much easier for Arlington to walk away with another win? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
