The biggest upset of the week belonged to Notasulga, who defeated 185th ranked Notasulga, 29-0.
St. Jude Educational Institute was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from eighth to fourth in 1A Region 4. Earlier in the week, the Pirates triumphed over Talladega County Central 24-6.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Fayetteville takes on Wadley. At the moment, the Wolves are in second, while the Bulldogs are in third.
Loachapoka moved up to 173 from 258 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Indians were able to make move up by defeating the Blue Devils 29-0.
