Blount's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaiden Beck, who scored 16 points along with three steals. The contest was Beck's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Naheem Thomas, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Blount's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Saraland, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blount will take on Theodore at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Theodore has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Saraland, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Murphy at 7:30 p.m.
