The Cy-Fair Bobcats's three-game losing streak came to an end on Monday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 61-26 win over Cypress Park. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cy-Fair also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Cy-Fair can attribute much of their success to Taniyah Davis, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 16 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Aries Tovar, who scored 12 points along with 8 rebounds.
Despite the defeat, Cypress Park saw an underclassman step up: Deliyah El Amin scored 4 points along with 8 rebounds. Andrea Plancarte was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 6 steals.
Cy-Fair's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Cypress Park, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-8.
Cy-Fair will take on La Joya at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cypress Park, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cypress Springs at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th.
