The Fresta Valley Christian Pioneers were the 40-36 winner over the Blue Ridge Christian Bears when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The matchup between the two teams wasn't particularly close, with Fresta Valley Christian falling 38-21.
Blue Ridge Christian can attribute much of their success to Callie Paradzinski, who scored 15 points along with 8 steals and 7 rebounds. The game was Paradzinski's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Keira Wyse, who scored 6 points along with 4 steals.
Fresta Valley Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Blue Ridge Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fresta Valley Christian will take on Ridgeview Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Blue Ridge Christian, they will be playing at home against Regents at 5:30 p.m. on December 8th.
