North Rowan's win came from a few key players South Stanly will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jo Jo Tarver, who rushed for 126 yards and a pair of TDs on only seven carries. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2024. Michael Alford was another key player, throwing for 209 yards and two touchdowns on perfect 6-for-6 passing.
South Stanly's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for North Rowan, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
