After a string of four wins, the Dreher Blue Devils's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were dealt a 91-52 loss at the hands of A.C. Flora. While losing is never fun, Dreher can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while A.C. Flora is ranked 20th).
Despite the defeat, Dreher saw an underclassman step up: Jamere Singleton scored 20 points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jordan Brown, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds.
Dreher's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for A.C. Flora, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1.
