The Huntington Highlanders posted their biggest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They blew past St. Albans 64-39. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Huntington has posted against St. Albans since February 3, 2017.
Jayden Clark was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. That's the first time this season that he posted two or more blocks. Another player making a difference was Avonte Crawford, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Huntington is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for St. Albans, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
Huntington will head out on the road to square off against Woodrow Wilson at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in West Virginia (Woodrow Wilson is ranked 33rd, while Huntington is ranked 16th). As for St. Albans, they will be playing at home against Spring Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
