The Upper Merion Area Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Pottstown Trojans at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Last Monday, it was a hard-fought contest, but Upper Merion Area had to settle for a 54-51 loss against Neshaminy. Upper Merion Area has not had much luck with Neshaminy recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought matchup, but Pottstown had to settle for a 54-52 loss against Unionville on Tuesday. Pottstown has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Upper Merion Area now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Pottstown, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Upper Merion Area didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Pottstown in their previous matchup back in February, but they still walked away with a 55-50 victory.
