Meanwhile, Westmoreland came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 28-7 win. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Wildcats are ranked 202nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Liberty Creek now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Westmoreland, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
