 Meanwhile,  Moberly unfortunately witnessed the end of their  13-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Fulton by a score of  3-2. Having soared to a lofty 13  runs in the game before, the Spartans couldn't push the score so high this time.
 Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Moberly, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-4.
 Marshall might still be hurting after the  7-0 loss they got from Moberly  when the teams last played  back in May of 2024. Can the Owls avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
