Leupp Boarding are still winless after their game against the Orme Warriors on Tuesday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. Leupp Boarding fell just short of Orme by a score of 43-41.
Orme was led to victory by Owen Rudolph and Preston Tisi. Rudolph dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds, while Tisi dropped a double-double on 12 points and 16 rebounds. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Welty, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds.
Leupp Boarding's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Orme, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Leupp Boarding will look to defend their home court on January 18th against American Heritage Academy at 5:00 p.m. As for Orme, they will head out on the road to face off against Caurus Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Caurus Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Orme in Arizona (Caurus Academy is ranked 108th, while Orme is ranked 226th).
