The Maiden Blue Devils pushed their score all the way to 66 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 75-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of Patton. Maiden was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Patton apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Maiden's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Parker Pait, who scored 24 points. Lincoln Frasure was another key contributor, going 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 18 points and 1 assists.
Maiden's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Patton, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
Maiden will look to defend their home court on Friday against North Lincoln at 8:00 p.m. North Lincoln has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 284 points over their last four games. As for Patton, they will head out on the road to face off against Draughn at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Draughn has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
