Hagerty is a perfect 5-0 against St. Cloud since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The two teams will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 6:00 p.m. Hagerty is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Hagerty's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past Oviedo 1-0.

Hagerty's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was S. Chucka, who went 2-for-5 with one double.

Meanwhile, St. Cloud fell victim to Lake Nona and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 11-0 to the Lions. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The loss snapped St. Cloud's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-3 record. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Hagerty, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Hagerty has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 11 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like St. Cloud struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.

Hagerty took their victory against St. Cloud in their previous matchup back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 10-0. Will Hagerty repeat their success, or does St. Cloud have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
