The Tillamook Cheesemakers lost a heartbreaker to the Seaside Seagulls when they met back in February of 2023, and they left with a heavy heart again on Wednesday. Tillamook took a hard 44-29 fall against Seaside. Tillamook has struggled against Seaside recently, as their contest on Wednesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Tillamook lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Tatum Lancaster, who scored four points along with six rebounds and four steals. Vivian Vogel was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Tillamook has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Seaside, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.
Tillamook will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Helens at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Seaside, they will head out on the road to face off against Astoria at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Astoria knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully Seaside likes a good challenge.
