The Largo Lions stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past Central 67-23 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Largo sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Central lost, one person who can't be blamed is Samiyah Gibson. Despite the final result, she scored 21 points. That was a full 91.3% of Central's points, marking the 14th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Largo has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season. As for Central, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.
Largo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win vs. Potomac on the 8th. Central has also already played their next contest, a 46-45 victory against Friendly on the 8th.
