Kara Henry made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (she also didn't allow any walks). Henry has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Henry was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Savannah Windham was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Hailey Marange was another key contributor, scoring two runs while going 1-for-1.
Maurepas' defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Mandeville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-6.
