Basketball Recap: Joseph Dahl Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Orr

Kennedy fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Orr Spartans on Friday, sneaking past 54-51. With that victory, the Crusaders brought their scoring average up to 50.2 points per game.

Kennedy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Joseph Dahl out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 boards. With that strong performance, Dahl is now averaging an impressive 8.1 rebounds per game. Another player making a difference was Kylen Henderson, who posted nine points in addition to six assists and six boards.

Kennedy's victory bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Orr, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kennedy will challenge Richards at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kennedy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.2 points per game this season. As for Orr, they will square off against Clemente at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering Orr has lost three straight at home and Clemente five straight on the road , this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum.
