Riley Torres was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched two innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter let Addie Galbreath and Maria Soto run wild. Galbreath got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Soto got on base in both of her plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs. Those four stolen bases gave Soto a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Berkley Finke, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Camryn Wolfe, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. Avery Wolfe was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter's record now sits at 11-13. As for Monrovia, their record is now 8-9.
