Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wawasee). They strolled past the South Central Satellites with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 64-47.

South Central's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jay Huerta, who went 5 for 12 on his way to 14 points and three steals. Huerta has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Noah Howard was another key player, going 5 of 10 on his way to 14 points.

Wawasee's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for South Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Wawasee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 52-36 defeat against Norwell on the 3rd. As for South Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-42 win against Elkhart Christian Academy on the 3rd.
