Basketball Recap: Shining Light Baptist Academy's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Shining Light Baptist Academy had won five straight games and Dennis Mosychuk did his part to make it six on Monday. The Shining Light Baptist Academy Sharks managed a 60-55 win over the Rockwell Christian School Chargers thanks in part to Mosychuk, who posted 27 points. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.5 points per game.

Shining Light Baptist Academy pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Rockwell Christian School, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shining Light Baptist Academy will host Emmanuel Christian at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th. As for Rockwell Christian School, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Faith Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
