The Watsonville Wildcatz will challenge the Hollister Haybalers at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Watsonville's hitters haven't  had much luck over their past four  matchups, but Wednesday's   contest will give them a chance to turn things around.
Monday just wasn't the day for Watsonville's offense. They took  a  3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Everett Alvarez on Monday.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Hollister and Monterey had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Haybalers came up short against  the Dores on Monday, falling  17-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  defeat the Haybalers have suffered  since April 11th.
  Maddy Rodriguez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  triple and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Grace Peffley, who  went 2-for-3 with three  stolen bases and two  runs.
 Hollister's loss was  their third straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Watsonville, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-12.
