Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Neshannock walked away with it. They blew past the Apollo Ridge Vikings 14-2 on Monday. The  win was just business as usual for the Lancers, who after 20 games remain undefeated  this season.
 Addy Frye made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 14 batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Miley Anderson, who  went 2-for-3 with two  triples, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Jaidon Nogay, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI.
 Neshannock  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 16  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in ten consecutive  games.
Neshannock's victory was  their 25th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 20-0. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Apollo Ridge, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-5 record  this season.
 Neshannock will challenge Bentworth on Wednesday. The Bearcats will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something the Lancers surely won't give up without a fight. Apollo Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
