Basketball Recap: Huntley Project Makes It Four in a Row at Home

After losing to St. Labre Indian Catholic the last time they met, Huntley Project decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Huntley Project Red Devils walked away with an 84-73 win over the St. Labre Indian Catholic Braves on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devils.

Huntley Project had a senior duo take command as ANDERSON MCNIVEN went 12 of 24 en route to 33 points and four steals and PARKER COOK went 9 for 16 on his way to 25 points along with five boards and three steals. The game was COOK's eighth in a row with at least ten points. JAKE COOK was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals.

Huntley Project pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 83.8 points per game. As for St. Labre Indian Catholic, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-1.

Huntley Project wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, an 84-59 win against Baker on the 17th. St. Labre Indian Catholic has also already played their next contest, a 75-66 loss against Lame Deer on the 14th.
