The Mars Fightin' Planets had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They breezed by Hampton on the road to the tune of 42-15. The result was nothing new for Mars, who have now won seven games by 27 points or more so far this season.
Evan Wright continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 287 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 9.9 yards per carry. Wright is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last nine games he's played.
Mars' victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 49.0 points per game. As for Hampton, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

As for Hampton, they will head out on the road to face off against Highlands at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
