After flying high against Cypress Creek last Friday, Sunlake came back down to earth. The Sunlake Seahawks had to suffer through a 56-21 loss at the hands of the Land O' Lakes Gators. Land O' Lakes found their leader in sophomore Chance Houston, who threw for 245 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 60 yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave Houston a new career-high in rushing yards. Xavier Clemente was Houston's top target, picking up 96 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Sunlake's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Land O' Lakes, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 4-6.
