After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central, the Staley Falcons were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Belton 72-38 on the road. That's another feather in the cap for Staley, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Despite the loss, Belton still got an impressive performance from Kordell Williams, who scored 24 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. The contest was Williams' third in a row with at least ten points.
The win got Staley back to even at 1-1. As for Belton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Staley will be playing at home against Ozark at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Belton, they will head out on the road to face off against Truman at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Truman is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
