Mansfield Homeschool waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They never let the Chickasha Fighting Chicks get on the board and left with a 5-0 win.
Shiloh Callaway looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
On the hitting side, Ashton Widmer was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
Mansfield Homeschool's victory bumped their record up to 23-6-2. As for Chickasha, their loss dropped their record down to 16-5.
Looking ahead, Mansfield Homeschool will take on Pryor in a tournament on Friday. The Tigers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Chickasha, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Heritage Hall at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
