It was fun while it lasted, but Bethel's undefeated season came to an end after five games on Friday. They took a 46-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lehman Catholic Cavaliers. The matchup marked the Bees' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Bethel's loss came despite strong showings from Michael Halleg and Eli Lowery. Halleg posted 11 points and six boards, while Lowery went 5 of 10 on his way to 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sean Phipps, who put up eight points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bethel fell to 5-1. As for Lehman Catholic, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Bethel wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 52-41 win against Cedarville on the 14th. As for Lehman Catholic, they will venture away from home to square off against Riverside at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lehman Catholic is facing Riverside at the right time seeing as Riverside is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
