Dorman had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They put the hurt on the Riverside Warriors with a sharp 7-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Cavaliers, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Dorman pushed their record up to 17-5 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Riverside, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.

Dorman will host Spartanburg at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cavaliers are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Riverside, they will venture away from home to square off against Gaffney at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: the Indians will have lost five straight heading into Monday's match.
