St. Philip Catholic Central came out on top against Colon by a score of 49-42. That's two games straight that St. Philip Catholic Central has won by exactly seven points.
Colon's loss came despite strong showings from Nic Mock and Dalton Williams. Mock dropped a double-double on 24 points and 13 rebounds, while Williams scored 11 points along with nine rebounds and three blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mock has scored all season.
The victory makes it two in a row for St. Philip Catholic Central and bumps their season record up to 8-5. As for Colon, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
St. Philip Catholic Central will be playing at home against Bellevue at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Colon, they will head out on the road to challenge Springport at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
