Basketball Recap: Community Christian Extends Home Winning Streak to 12

Community Christian entered their tilt with Calvary Christian on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They skirted past the Calvary Christian EAGLES 60-58. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the EAGLES back in November of 2024, they had to take a 49-44 defeat.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Community Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Luke Fagan, who posted 11 points and three steals. The dominant performance also gave Fagan a new career-high in blocks (two). Another player making a difference was Brody Back, who put up 14 points and five rebounds.

Community Christian pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.4 points per game. As for Calvary Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Community Christian will take on Legacy Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Calvary Christian has already played their next match (against Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
