Central Private are packing up and hiking across state lines for their matchup on Friday. They take on Amite School Center at 7:00 PM. Central Private are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.
If Central Private were riding high off their 33-6 takedown of Porter's Chapel Academy two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Central Private fell to Centreville Academy 8-16.
Last week, Amite School Center came up short against North Delta, falling 0-14. This makes it the second loss in a row for Amite School Center.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contest, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
