New Richmond unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Friday. Their rough 35-13 loss to Hudson might stick with them for a while. New Richmond was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-0.

Meanwhile, Marshfield was able to grind out a solid victory over Hortonville on Friday, taking the game 17-7. The win was just what Marshfield needed coming off of a 21-0 defeat in their prior match.
Marshfield's win bumped their season record to 4-5 while New Richmond's defeat dropped theirs to 8-1.
